Fall’s here. It’s time to put those flip flops away and throw on some booties to frolick in piles of leaves. At least that’s what I imagine fall to be like in places where the trees aren’t always green and the temperature isn’t always 70 degrees. I’ve gotten rid of most of my cute shoes these days due to disuse, but Ahnu Footwear saves the day with casual, yet technical options. The Harper is my new favorite piece of footwear for fall.

Ahnu Footwear is one of those shoe companies I will support forever and ever. I mean, you never forget your first hiking boot, right? When they announced their new YogaSport line, I was super excited to get my hands on the Yoga Flex. I love when brands branch out from their usual suspects and try something new.
For #HellHikeAndRaft last year I needed a pair of shoes for the rafting portion. I don’t partake in too many water sports so I turned to Ahnu Footwear for some help. Ahnu sent over their Tilden IV, the most rugged sandals in their line for me to brave the waters of the Snake River and beyond.
Named after a little vacation town in California, the Ahnu Footwear Twain Harte boots blend both form and function for a solid apres ski boot or lightweight winter hiking shoe.
I’m a big fan of my Ahnu Montara boots. Just when I thought the company couldn’t release anything better than those, they came out with the Sugarpine line consisting of a waterproof boot, waterproof shoe, and air-mesh trail runners.
I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks testing the Sugarpine Waterproof Boot. Let me tell ya, they are awesome and versatile. These are the best lightweight, waterproof boots for a not-so-steep price.
